NOW LIVE: 2009 IPC Online Statistical Reporting Service
February 1, 2010 is the deadline for institutions to complete and return 2009 statistical reports to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario (IPC).
Every calendar year, all institutions that are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act or the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act are required to report on the following activity:
- the number of requests for information
- the number of requests for correction of personal information, and
- the timeliness of responses, outcomes and fees collected.
In order to help institutions complete the requirement, the IPC has a practical Online Statistical Reporting Service that is easy to access through its website at www.ipc.on.ca, under “Key Resources.”
First-time users
Send an e-mail to statistics.ipc@ipc.on.ca for login and password information, then input your data directly into an online statistical report form at https://statistics.ipc.on.ca.
Existing users
You may input data directly at https://statistics.ipc.on.ca by using your 2008 login and password. Forgotten your password and login? Simply send a message to statistics.ipc@ipc.on.ca to have these retrieved.
For further details about the IPC Online Statistical Reporting Service, please visit: http://www.ipc.on.ca/english/Resources/Forms/Forms-Summary/?id=821.
